As the death toll rises in the US, how does COVID-19 compare to other pandemics? As of this writing, US deaths for COVID-19 just surpassed Swine Flu of 2009.
How was SARS contained, more infectious than COVID-19, but under 800 deaths worldwide. By interrupting all human-to-human transmission, SARS was effectively eradicated.
